In the month of August 2019, I finally had my first trek. I planned it earlier too but due to the busy life schedule and the chaos of the life I had it was always being postponed for the next vacation.

It helps you to re-define who you are and what wonders you can create

Finally, I said yes to my friend who had asked me an umpteenth time over the past years. They say travel can create wonders. It helps you to reconnect with your own self. For me its the best thing that can happen to someone, it helps you to re-define who you are and what wonders you can create.

The trek that we planned was for the Brighu lake trek in the Beautiful city of Manali, somewhere in the midst of Himalayas. It was a 4 days travel to the place, starting from Delhi to Manali, then reaching to Gulaba pass from where the real fun begin.

What life lessons you learn from trekking?

1. Surviving with the less

While on a trek you have to carry minimum of the things in your back pack. Be it food, clothes your gadgets or your negative thoughts. It include a walking through the bumpy terrain and reach the top. During Trekking you will discover that there are better things in world then Netflix and Amazon Prime and Video Games. Life is full of crests and troughs and both are equally important. You will learn the importance of Water and natural resources.

2. Gaining immense Self -Confidence:

It may seems a pretty walk in the mountains but the unexplored route that you never went before teaches you a lot. It might seems an easy walk but once you start the trek, you get to know how sturdy it can be. The more you walk the more you desire to do more of it. The adrenaline to walk the trek, right from the beginning till the team you reach the desired the goal. From a no one at the beginning to the achievement you accomplish it brings a feeling of joy that can hardly be expressed.

3. Gratitude for Mother Nature

Respect for Mother Nature. For the beauty that was once created had been seldom preserved by mountains. They call it beautiful because it is still out of reach of the masses. Mountains are so damn beautiful and majestic that you can only feel them once you become a part of it. You can travel the woners around the globe but trekking let you explore every bit of it by being a part of it, the beautiful nature. The joy of being in the mountains is so pristine that you just cant thank God enough for creating such a brilliant world that is far away from the concrete jungle.

You cant ever repay back to nature, All you can do is conserve and praise

4. Saying NO to social drama

If you have ever been to mountains you will know how difficult it is for one to search out for the cellular network. Your smartphone is nothing more than a dumb peace of technology. For me it came out as a boon, no network, no apps, no justification to anyone and most importantly a total cut off from the chaotic world, where people are so ready to judge you for being you. It has been almost 3 months since the day I came back and I hadn't used Facebook or Instagram or Whats app.

That’s the Joy of being away from the chaos of dramatic world

5. The Alternate for getting high

There are Other better ways to Get High !! Drugs ain’t the only one of them. Once you will be in mountain the amount of fresh air you will breath. Believe me you wont want to have a smoke ever again, be it a cigarette or all the names you know(alternative for smoke). You Have To Leave Your Comfort Zone To Get Better Things.

yes, that’s Black Tea. That’s all you can get on 8000 mtrs above sea level

6. Getting out of your Comfort Zone

You Have To Leave Your Comfort Zone To Get Better Things. Nothing in life comes easy. Stagnant is the sign of being dead, you are not one of them. Trekking teaches you the importance of many aspects of life. Once dead we all will have plenty of time to sleep and there wont be a hurry to wake up or hit snooze. But till than as long as you are alive lets live the most of it.

That’s me, Early morning 5:30 am Out of our tent i wanted to enjoy every bit of the time

This was my thought post my first ever trek. I am planning another trek for last week of December. Believe once you have walked on any trek you will have a completely different view for life and things around you. You will start loving yourself and value things that holds meaning in you life.

So when are you planning your first trek.
